Privacy Issue: A privacy issue which continues to cause confusion and uncertainty is access to church Registers. When people come into the office requesting access to Baptismal, Marriage or Death registers it is normal to want to be helpful and be trusting of those making the request. With the reality of Privacy Legislation, we need to be more protective of personal information. Here's some Guidelines from the United Church of Canada.
